Waynetown Jan 27 -- The funeral of Dr. AN Hamilton who died Saturday after an illness covering a period of several months, was conducted Monday afternoon by Rev. Leonard at the Baptist Church of which he was a devoted member. A mixed choir sang, "O Think of the Home Over There," "Some Sweet Day Bye and Bye, and "Home, Heavenly Home" Pall bearers were Albert Thompson, DC Moore, Mack Foster, Walter Runyan, Claude Darnell, RD Bible and MF Pardue. Flower bearers were: Mr. & Mrs. Harry Applegate; Mr. & Mrs. Fern Birdcell; Mrs. Charles Dwiggins; Mrs. Claude Darnell; Mrs. MF Pardue and Mrs. Walter Runyan. Interm. was made in Masonic Cemetery

Dr. A.N. Hamilton, prominent physician of Waynetown, d. this morning at 11 o'clock at his home here (Waynetown) following an illness of several months. Dr. Hamilton widely known throughout this section of Indiana, was the victim of diabetes. He underwent an operation for the amputation of his right leg below the knee recently at the Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. His condition had been regarded as serious for some time. The well known doctor was 78 and was b. near Wingate. He had practice med. for 54 years. He is survived by his widow and was long a member of the Baptist Church. Dr. H's death took place at his home here. The funeral service will be conducted from the Waynetown Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev. Leonard of Indianapolis in charge. - kbz
